- I brought home my 5 -24 hr old chicks this past Mother’s Day for myself- 2 Barred Plymouth Rocks, 2 Rhode Island Reds and 2 Orpington Buffs. One Barred Rock was named Roxy but became Rocky when he began crowing (now ALL day long)! I have found 2 eggs in the nesting box a week ago. I have many questions and also have a need to talk to people that do NOT think I am a “Crazy Chicken Lady” (including my husband)!
