is it true that Cayugas lay black eggs at the first of laying season and as it gets toward the end the eggs start turning light grey too they are white?
I can't see very much blood just a little. One hatched out and is in the brooder. there's three more one looks a little dry so I'm gonna put another damp paper towel over it

I'm using a hova-bator temp says around 99.5-100.1 humidity stays around 40% during incubation and on day 26 the humidity goes up to 60%. I only killed one batch I had 3 pekins hatch.

I'm getting a pair of Cayugas on the 30th the female is currently laying fertile eggs. I've tried to hatch them but they died on the last day. Any tips on hatching Cayugas? And is there anything I need to know about them? All I have is pekins.
