    Anyone familiar with Infectious Laryngotracheitis Virus (ILTV)?

    I just got necropsy results back from a bird that died Tuesday and it was positive for ILT. It didn't have any symptoms that we noticed until it suddenly died. Just started reading about it and trying to find out if we need to do anything about our remaining 5 birds and our backyard.

    Hen with salpingitis - doxycycline or amoxicillin for antibiotic treatment and how do you get them?

    Thank you! Would you recommend switching to this or continuing with amoxicillin to see if she improves?

    I just posted a very similar thread! I have been using amoxicillin for my hen, but she is now laying very thin shelled eggs. I have read that the salpingitis can also cause them to be egg bound, so if she has not been laying it may be worth doing the epsom salt baths and treating for being egg...
