    Oh thanks that is really helpful. I have had a poorly chicken who I thought was recovering from sour crop I wonder if it is from her. I will have a good read now.thanks

    I have 4 chickens and one of them has laid something strange today. Has anyone any ideas what it is? Could it be a lash egg? It smells awful, I found it in the nest box. Many thanks if anyone can help!

    I have just joined backyardchickens. I am in England and we got our six hens last Saturday.
