A little bit about me:
I am totally, overly-obsessed with feathered creatures.
I am a Christian teen. I have 1 older brother, and am big sister to 6 brothers and 2 sisters.(That makes 10 of us total, all from the same parents!)
I keep busy with school, babysitting, cleaning, cooking, church, and remodeling our house.
In my spare time I read, draw, bake, sometimes write, and chill on BYC enjoying all of y’all!
I also love to sit out in the coop and watch the silly birdies!!!
Music:
Ahhh music. Such a beautiful thing!!!
Matthew West is my favorite artist.
His songs are AmAzInG!!! My favorites are; Don’t Stop Praying, The Motions, and Truth be Told.
I also, (like HHH and Loca), am a total Franky! Before now, I had no idea it was possible to have such encouraging, uplifting music!!! Celebration is my favorite, but I also love Lemonade, Your Ways Better, and all the rest!!!
Jeromy Camps, Dead Man Walking, is also a favorite, along with
IDK, by Allison Eide
Chickens:
This year has been a hard chicken year for me.
In February, I lost 6 out of 10 chicks to some disease that spread through the brooder.
In July, I lost 16 hens AND a rooster to a HUGE raccoon raid that happened while I was out of town.
Now I’ve been slowly working to re-build the flock. Slowly but surely.
Im actually up to 26 hens now, (almost) where I left off!
The goal is 45 by/through Spring.
(Our family eats OVER 20 eggs a day, so if I want to be able to sell any, im going to have to get MORE than that!!lol
