    Time heals all wounds, as well as visiting his cairn often. Thank you. I've had to put down one other bird since than, and though that pained me greatly, there's a small comfort that he has another cairn next to his. As well the coop has been moved near to him so his 3 sisters can visit him often.

    Injured Chick

    Having gotten some equipment and trying to splint them, I found it was a broken leg and a broken hip. I have chosen to end their suffering and no longer require assistance. Named them Paarl Jr. They're entombed next to their father now, cairn raised.

    I absolutely love the Light Brahma, as I find it a beautiful bird to look at. Though my two are hefty eaters in return. I have found my Dominique to be the tamest, and calmest of the four I own despite my initial believe the brahma's would be the jewels of the flock.
