I've been a city dweller all my life, then a few years ago in my mid 40's I found myself single again and bought a little 7 acre "mini-farm" out in the country. I've never been happier. My 2 loves now are fruit growing (125 fruit trees including almost anything you've heard of and many you haven't) and poultry. I also have goats and a big garden. I have ducks and chickens and they all free range but miraculously stay on my property 95% of the time-which is neat to me. I have turkey eggs in my incubator now and am excited about them. I am a City Manager by day so perhaps I can help those of you struggling with local government ordinances against chickens. In short, I've enjoyed this site for a few years and thought I should finally fill out this information section. Thanks for reading.
