    It is possible for some of these to be maturing quickly but for 7 weeks old with a bunch of redness it sounds like you might have some roosters.

    No I bought them all pullets. But I also bought to other chicks that said all pullets from the same store and one turned out to be a rooster so I wasn’t sure if these were both female

    Thank you. I did read that blue barred rock boy chicks have a dot on the head and this one didn’t have a dot so that’s why I wasn’t sure it was a rooster

    I know that blue barred rocks are able to be sexed when they’re born but the growth of wattles and comb are scaring me for such a young age. She is about 3 weeks old. Do you guys think I have a rooster?
