    I just checked on her again and bleeding does seemed to have slowed/stopped so I did end up applying the poultry antibiotic spray.     I can try to get a better picture, but I can assure you the whole bloody spot in the photo is a wide open injury. It is still bleeding. I'm worried about applying any pressure of material to stop the bleeding because it is so big and so exposed. What would work best?

    We haven't done anything yet and at least 3 of our 8 young pullets did end up laying in the past couple weeks, much to my surprise. We intend to put up artificial lighting but just haven't gotten around to it yet 🙃 January sounds about right for when we'll get to it
