My rooster seems to have a tender toe that is a little sore and weepy--and look like he has an ingrown nail.
I can't find any info on it.
Could it be because we had a super long, wet Spring and he insisted on being in the dank barn versus his dry coop?
Any thoughts on treatment...
Our main man, Brother Wilfred, a chantecler rooster, had double bumblefoot surgery the other night. It wasn't a bad surgery, but it was intense enough that he's been put into a large pen by himself in the barn while his feet heal.

We don't really have anywhere else to put her--but that's a good idea. I'll see if we can isolate her somehow.
So that means keeping her away 24/7? She doesn't run around the yard with them, or sleep with them?
