    Good luck but I think you are in for a losing battle. I could not imagine resoding every year. That could become very expensive. You could try having 2 pins and rotating them. Their poo is just too hot for the grass to handle without a rest.

    We live in the country. I take trash to the dump down the road from my work for free. Well nothing is free it comes out of our county taxes.

    We use sand because our ground is sand. It works well. We live in the sandhills of nc so we do not have a choice.

    We are vegheads here in my house. We eat our eggs but could not emagine killing and eating one of our pets and our chickens are our pets.

    Wet food is better for cats because they do not have a strong thirst drive and get their water from thier food. Mice are 70% water

    The problem with putting wire on the floor of a run is chickens like to scratch and the wire will be hard on their feet.

    Also, a flat surface allows them to be able to sit on their feet in the winter. That way they dont get frozen toes!
