    I have one barred rock hen who is sitting in the far corner of the coop, this is day 3. she doesn't want to eat or drink. i am afraid she has gotten ill, rest of the 5 chickens seem ok. I was away last week, and the neighbors were feeding them so i have no idea what it could be, maybe water...

    hurt toe

    hi-- my 8 week old hen looks like it ripped it's toe. toe was bleeding, and the chicken was holding it's leg up in the air. The hens are in a coop at night which is half wire and half plywood with shavings. During the day they are out in a penned area on grass. wondering what i should do...
