Quote: I have lots of ducks too! Some are crested! Do you happen to have an extra "white" crested drake? I have a friend that's looking for one!

    Hubby says....

I don't know about you, but it seems to me, that Hubbys say alot of things! Keeping track of what they say is way too much work and may cause instant PMS!! We dont want that now, do we?

Can I add a rooster to the flock?

Hows he doing Amy? Now that he is out of the picture, the other two have hooked back up! The cats are NOT happy!!!

    Guinea's

I feed mine the highest protien feed I can find. But, I also start with, and supplement with what I called the "yellow stuff", about a 1/4 cup of what ever crumbles I can find, 1 boiled egg yolk and just enough water to make it a glob! They seemed to do good on this and the "Yellow stuff"...

Helaine, Of all the geese I have had, it seems it was always the ganders that were the mean ones. But, once they learned not to be mean, they made the best pets? My female Tufted seems to be an instigator of the flock now! "She" will get her jaw a flapping at some one, and then the "gander"...

Well, if anybody is interested in some young silkie, frizzle, cochin crosses, let me know! They are mostly black. I also have some ducks for sale! I was told they are Crested Blue Swedish. Best gander defense

I always thought of geese as egos, with feathers, you break that ego, and you have a friend for life!! When I got my tufted romans, the gander was an adult and one evil bugger! If he came after me in attack mode, I would grab him by the head, wrap my arms around him and carry him around for...

Hi Helaine!! I still don't know if we are heading your way! Please don't take this personal, but I have been kinda hoping Hubby has forgotten the Bday party! He and I have both have been a little over worked these past few weeks and the long drive just to spend time with in-laws, does not sound...

I'm so bummed and I figured only the folks on this board would understand. I could not get a hold of my sister in time to see if she could pick up the Brown Chinese in Kent. I won't have a rig until we catch up on all the hay season breakdowns! THEN, Sometime last night, something came in and...

TerrasCritters, Black East Indies! I love those! I was told they like to fly and would not do good in my situtaton, so I got my crested blue swedish instead. Luckily my latest setting hen is an australorp(?)! I think Hubby wants me to cut back to just the ones that lay "normal" sized eggs...

Helaine! I if I can find a male brown chinese, I could have a young turfted Roman for you!! I can't let him go until I find a mate for the goose that hatched him! Without the baby, she is all alone. (The real parents are not very nice to her.)
