Update: she now won't eat or drink and doesn't seem aware of anything I also found some worms on her bottom and she looks like she might die has anyone got any advice of anything I can do!!!! Or. Any ways to make her eat or drink

My hen once had fowl pox and it looked a bit like that but it could just be dried blood if it is fowl pox give ur hen some garlic water as that usually helps and hopefully it will clear up. Here is a photo of my hen when she had fowl pox

My three year old hybrid is very unresponsive unlike her usual self and won't eat I managed to give her some garlic water but that was it. She has poo all round her bottom and I'm thinking of giving her electrolyte but not sure how much to give her. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, she...

I don't know if this is a similar situation but I had two hybrids and when one of them died the other went into a sort of shock to. I got some new hens for her but she didn't lay an egg again and seemed to be quite ill for a month or so. Hope ur hen gets better to!

Thank you very much. My hens are all hybrids but the breeder gave them names of a golden speckled hen, Sussex white hybrid and Sussex black hybrid!

I had two hybrids and when one of them very tragically died due to the house collapsing the other stopped laying for good and I think it was from trauma. Anyway she is now 4 years old and looking extremely healthy!

I have a hybrid who is 3 years old and still doing fine but she stopped laying for good about a year ago, I don't know if this is to do with the fact that she is a hybrid?
