I think you have answered my problem. When we moved them to higher ground, they were close to our yard lights and it was brighter in the coop than normal. Also, the distance we move them is usually 1 length and we had to move them quite a distance to get them to higher ground.

We sprayed our pecan trees with zinc and waited until after the first rain to let our hens pasture on the grass. We are getting aggressive behavior in a couple of the hens. Attacking one hen in particular that is very timid. Could this be related?
Just started with chickens. Received 24 cornish cross on March 31st and 9 RIR on April 12. Added 2 Whiting Blues, 1 Wellsummer and 1 copper maran a few days later. Anyone else.out there from Oklahoma? I read that cornish cross do not tolerate heat well. Any advise?
