    I am a new proud owner of three 3 week old mallards. I was told I could let them fly away for the winter and they would return in the fall. I am wondering if this is ok...will they be able to fend for themselves ?

    I share the same enthusiasm ! I have three new mallards..two weeks as well. Its all I can do to not go out and get the new pekins i saw ! I was told that i could let my mallard fly away for the winter, however im now wondering if that would be the best thing for them. Does anyone have any insight ?
