Well I had 8 chicks running around this am took 12 eggs off two day ago Candled and discarded 3 eggs one incubator egg hatched last night so every thing suggested seems to be workin Thanks all
Hen got broody setting on 13 eggs on 4/6 Wife noticed she seemed to be having trouble covering eggs We checked and she had 24 !!! Any one had any luck when she gets off nest with majority of chicks putting remaining unhatched eggs in incubator Or just write em off ???
I put 4 snap traps under a plastic tub the mice could get under but chickens couldn’t caught 4 a day for couple weeks then quit seeing them That worked for me
I got to looking and found some pellets that were quite a bit smaller than the first ones I tried You might look for the small pellets Worked for me and my birds
It’s Coyote breeding season so you see one they’re more close and my dealings with Fox they get one then back later for more not killing or taking more than Dinner Coyotes the same so I’m guessing there were more than one and all took home a meal

My birds are free range only close on roost . I have 30 large and 13 Bantams 3 Bantam Roos in the mix two lg Roos Americana And Buff op Roos they have their own. Free run gangs but all get along very well minimal fighting
I have exactly what you want the Americana too will breed the Mill e Fluer hens I’ve seen it but no harm so far and not that often that I see But they get along fine
