    So I just hatched chicks and noticed that Mom has mites on her and they're crawling on the nesting box but most concerning the chicks. I found spray I'll use to clean the coop and the mother but the chicks have to be 10 days old to be sprayed and I don't have enough time to wait 10 days.

    will a chicken continue to brood in a shared nesting box? My brooder jumped off her eggs and I noticed all my other hens had lain eggs, all next to her fertilized eggs.

    Yes they can eat wet food that's what I've been giving my crippled chick and she eats it with gust. It's perfectly safe as long as it's not really old (2-3 days)

    I have a 5 day old Delaware chick, her legs are badly crippled and she can scuffle across her soft pine shavings. But she won't eat or drink, past her yolk date.I have to dip her beak into the water for her to drink and I have to break the small feed in half for her to put it in her mouth...
