    From a pen of birds that are somewhat of a mystery to me background wise (ok, a complete mystery). In the pen is a simply gorgeous black roo who ended up having a lot of silver in his hackles, I was going to pet him out, but instead I put him in a pen with 2 black girls and 2 silver partridge...

    I wish I knew, they were a gift. I would call them very good production quality. They are not SQ, but beautiful birds for a pet/laying flock, not the odd 'almost-not-runners-at-all' the hatcheries sometimes seem to send ;) I'll go out and see if I can get a good shot of how they look now as...

    It was cold, in the 20's, but fine near the lamp, he had to wander off on his own to get that cold.
