    I had to google candling. Thanks for that! Never heard of method. To be honest as much as I'd like to keep my roosters, they annoy even me in the morning :rolleyes: plus Im in an area where Im not even allowed to have them. Luckily one of my chicks turned out to be a hen so I can keep her :D

    Thanks guys! I know it seems obvious in hindsight, I was just shocked my young roosters would be fornicating so soon. But I saw one mounting my hens this morning so that solves it. Gotta start getting better at collecting eggs :rolleyes:

    Everyone seems fine! I have not noticed any mounting but I definitely have a couple broody hens. I've also been a bit lazy about collecting eggs regularly the last couple months.
