    I'm with you on the euthanasia, I wish there was an easier way....and I can't stand to watch them suffer. If it is absolutely the only way, unfortunately for my husband, it's his job. I figure if he can kill/hunt deer, he can handle this and he does.

    Take her inside, and away from everyone else, get her warm, and see if you can get her to drink some electrolyte water, I put honey in the water when they are sick like that, hoping to boost their blood sugar.

    Did the vet say why the intramuscular shot killed your hen? This is totally my biggest fear when giving shots. But my dog bit one of our girls, it definitely broke through the skin.

    She won't eat anything, and her right foot, the one she having trouble with , I move it with no resistance. I'm guessing something is broken
