Regarding the humidity being too high...it didn't get steamy until the first chick hatched and the moisture from the egg and wet chick caused condensation. :-)
I was surprised mine hatched early. I set them at noon my time. They all pipped the evening of day 19 and the first hatched at 10:54 am on day 10. All five had hatched by 7 pm.
That's the first of 5 eggs. I think 3 more have hatched but the incubator is steamy and I can't tell if there are one or two eggs left. I'm viewing them from my home security cam. Lol.
