I have always been afraid of roosters, and since our "hen" started to crow, I have been looking for a way to live peaceful with him. He had just start challenging me so I was looking for some idea or something try. This is worth the read and will give it a try.
Wonderful ideas to use, we bought all our chickens at the same time. However, we had to pull an ill one and are now ready to reintroduce to the flock. Nice to read what other have already tired.
None of my birds have been vaccinated. I am located in Michigan, Ann Arbor would be the biggest city rather close to me. I will try to go in do my profile. I was on the group years ago until our last hen died. This summer we decided that we missed the gals and got a few. Thanks for the reply.
I will call around some more to see if I can find a vet. I am asking for a fecal test on chicken is that correct? Or do I need to be asking for something else?
Update: 12-14-18. Amber chicken seems more alert, still no interest in food. I can get her drink, so I have watering down yogurt and scramble eggs. but she only drinks its. I did the internal exam for eggs bound, nothing there. I noticed last night a spot on her foot in the web part, looks...
That is one thing I have not done. I felt around underneath, when I pick her up the opening (vent) opens and I don't see anything. Is there an article for checking internally? I really don't want to hurt her or cause damage.
