Like I said, these are my first chickens and first coop. I will definitely build my own coop next time. This one looked nice but hardly lasted a year before things started to deteriorate. Live and learn.
Yes, that's the coop I have. The listing said it was good for up to 10. There are 6 nesting boxes, the 10x15 pen and I free range them most of the time. Do I need bigger?
The enclosure is 10' x 15' x 6'. It is a dog kennel reinforced with machine cloth all around and 12" into the ground. The coop is right in the middle. It is a Chicken Saloon Rambler. Can't get the video to load from my phone
I'm going to try multiple feeders and some sort of hiding places. This is the first time I've raised chickens, have grown fond of them and would hate to remove anyone.
It isn't just pecking. She pursues her when she runs away and pulls out her feathers. I'm going to try the multiple feeding area method. My only issue with that is that they are very messy eaters and the scattered food attracts rats.
