    Got the nest boxes all mounted up today, now just need to put the hinged back and hinged roof on them. And then it'll just be sheeting the walls and putting on the roofing!

    Got the rafters up and ready for the aluminum roof. Also got started on the nest boxes. The nesting boxes will be attached to the back, and they will have doors to gather eggs from the outside.

    I'm building an egg mobile right now too, just put the wire floors on yesterday. I used 2"x2" woven wire for my first layer and ran regular chicken wire over the top of it. The 2x2 is strong enough to keep the coons out and the chicken wire keeps the birds legs from falling thru. But still big...

    Ok New Q: Egg pipped problem!

    Hey sonny, Im glad she decided to get back to setting on her nest! I had 3 more hatch out yesterday (so im at 5 total poults) and i grabbed them and put them in the brooder, so now she is sitting on 4 now. How are your poults doing so far in the brooder?
