    Thanks for the tips! We did put concrete pavers around the run and have started hardware cloth around the coop area. We did have a hawk or turkey vulture circling yesterday. So we figure a covered run will be needed going forward.

    New coop and run setup yesterday for our 6 chicks. They are 5 weeks old and we are moving them into the coop today! It’s moving in day!

    Thanks! We do all that - it was on the transit from outdoor playtime back to the brooder! They may have lost their playtime privileges!

    It’s getting dark and she just ran to the main mama (my wife!) who was holding food. They are getting big and starting to fly up on things and I think the brooder is too small. We are waiting on a coop to be delivered - in about 2 weeks - and then maybe a month from there they will be coop ready!
