Canker metronidazole/ronidazole?
Hey there may be dealing with the same thing. We treated for 1 week with metronidazole. 30 mg twice a day, she was only 2 pounds at that point. Wondering if the diagnosis ended up being canker? Also did the vet mention an egg withdrawal period? Or that her eggs were no longer able to be eaten...- TNbelle

*NOT URGENT* I had a few sick birds, bloody stools, lethargic, not e/d, sour crop too. I emptied their crops with held food and water for 12 hours. (Took them with me to work, to monitor) Found hooks on the fecal. Dewormed with fenbendazole. Everybody’s better, but I am finding conflicting info...- TNbelle

I am newer to chickens, and really new to chicken genetics. I am wondering about how much it matters the breed of rooster vs hen. ie I’ve seen Maran over Ee to or Americana, but not the other way around, does that matter?
