Ok, i need some help please. Do indian runners make good parents? Do they usually hatch eggs each year? Do they require lots of space? Do they do well in cooler climates like wisconsin? Thats all--thank you! -

I need advice from people of the north!
We will be coming up on another winter in a few months and i was wondering how people keep their coops warm? I was thinking about a brooder light but i have a pretty big coop and i dont know how warm it would stay? Any help is greatly appreciated!- toffee1

I have 2 about 1.5 year old RIR's and i was just wondering for those of you who have RIR's that when did yours go broody? I wanted them to sit on some eggs this year but i doubt that will happen.- toffee1
