One year old Australorp stands around all sluggish, not eating/water. Moved her into the house away from my other chickens. She is just standing and when I put a small roost bar in she sits on it for hours and hours. Runny yellowish poop. I've checked for egg bound, sour crop, injuries...
Okay; what a shame.......... I'd think it was okay to feed them back to the girls since the level in their system should be going down over time as it will inside the eggs.
I just low fenced off a area of the garden under the apple trees for them. It's about 20x40 and I'll open the whole garden area up for them in the winter time. The garden area is pretty big and it's fenced high to keep all the deer out.
