Coughing hen, no swollen eyes or runny nose

I didn't look that closely. The strange thing is that she's quiet in the morning and afternoon, but this coughing starts in the evening. That's when she's about to head back to the coop in the evening. Also coughs a little in the middle of the night.

Coughing hen, no swollen eyes or runny nose

Thanks for the reply. We introduced a new chicken in July of this year. There hasn't been any noticeable change, but she has a cough when she gets waterbelly or unwell. It is possible that an unknown virus was introduced and infected the non-resistant Araucana, but the symptoms are not serious...

    Let’s Talk About Bird Flu

No, to put it simply, Catechin does not completely inactivate the virus.

    Greeters…

Not really. I'd like to know some useful search tips or search terms that will return good results. Tips: pecifically, breaking sentences like "My hen has been sneezing since last night. When I looked at her this morning, her comb was pale and she had diarrhea." into individual words makes it...

    Greeters…

I don't know if I should write this here, but there was something that confused me when I first joined last year. I think if there had been hints or tips on how to get the information I wanted, I would have been able to get it more quickly. Specifically, my chickens were showing a certain...

    Let’s Talk About Bird Flu

As you may know, it's worth adding that the amount of caffeine in green tea varies greatly depending on how it's consumed.

    Greeters…

Amazing! To be honest, I sometimes skip over emails, so it would be helpful if someone knowledgeable could write an article explaining it. Also, even if I'm not an English speaker, I like how it's concise and easy to understand! Thanks!

    Let’s Talk About Bird Flu

I'm Japanese man who drinks various forms of green tea every day, but I don't drink it after 6pm because it contains a lot of caffeine. I agree with the point about its strong antibacterial properties against bacteria. Catechin has antibacterial properties, and some people even use it as a gargle.

    What made you happy today?

Nice to meet you. I got a gray brahma last Monday. However, she was heavily infested with bird mites. I was able to get rid of most of the adult mites and she is finally able to sleep peacefully. So I am so happy to see her visibly better.

    There's fluid in the lungs!

Hello. Today, she stopped sneezing like it was a lie! However, her appetite has decreased to about 70% of what it was before. I'm not sure if it's related. So I have no plans to take her to the vet at the moment. If it gets worse I will post on this thread. Thank you so much!!
