    I know this is an old post but i have a culture of e coli and Acinetobacter. Didnt do the myco test. Specialist at the lab said it doesnt matter that much but im still thinking of doing it. Im going to switch them to Clavamox per vet recommendations.

    And yes everyone says male. Which makes me sad and mad (just a little) as the EE chicks that were at the feed store were pullets not straight run. So of the 3 i got out of like 50 chicks. I pick one that ended up a crossbeak and died 1 suspected pullet and this roo. Bad luck.

    Or do you mean make a small enclosure in the coop with chicken wire with the cat carrier inside there as the huddle box? Turn heat support on at night?

    I have a special timer that will turn off heat support when it reaches a certain temp inside the coop. What temp should it not go over?
