They only ship to the states, and borders aren't open yet 😭 The Brinsea Ovation 28 is in my price range on that site, even with the exchange rate! Nearly half price the Canadian sites are asking.
Perhaps I should wait out the covid restrictions and just order from their... 250-300$ savings, for...
Thank you for your response! The idea of not being able to adjust temperature concerns me as well.
Is Chewy a reputable site to buy from? The prices there are way cheaper than on the sites I've been searching.
Definitely not overstepping! I love all advice. I live in Canada, so we unfortunately don't have tractor supply, but I will look up that incubator! Thank you!
Thanks for responding! I can turn morning, lunch, and evening. I fortunate to work on property.
From my reading, just the turning is manual. It says in the description:
" A flashing indicator shows that the incubation temperature is being controlled steadily and temperature is monitored with...
Hello! I'm looking at buying the Brinsea Octagon 20 Eco (Manual).
Our friend always let's us use her Brinsea Ovation 28, but we want to have our own incubator for the amount we hatch. Unfortunately! Her's is too far out of our price range.
I'm curious to how well the item works, if the...
Looking for BCM, Polish, Cochin, Wyandotte, Silkie, frizzle, and some standard egg layers like RIR.
Wanting pullets. I live in the Okanagan. Willing to drive, or possibly pay shipping.
Thank you for your response! Give me some peace of mind <3 I live in a pocket desert so we are quite dry.
I do feed the beetles, because I've heard that if you have too many, they'll eat your worms. I'm doing the all in one tank, as trying to have different drawers for different life stages was...
I like things to be neat and clean, so I've been hand picking all the sheds and dried out potatoes/carrots/etc. on a semi-regular basis.
If I don't clean it, how bad will it get? Is there a trick to cleaning out the sheds easier? I contemplated a vacuum from a far enough distance that the...
My cockerel does what seems to just be some exhaling of air, but I’m not sure if it’s an issue or just him being too lazy to chirp?
you hear it best at the end of the video when he kind of pecks at the long.
Thank you!
Would they work with a more upright running rooster? I have a Serama cross, and he *hates* the sock diaper, which most of my other chickens don’t mind. I assume it’s because they stand more upright which would apply pressure to the neck or tail.
Thank you! I figured he was a mix, and was curious if the brown/grey contrast was a trait to particular breed or just a fluke of mixed genetics. I appreciate your time and knowledge, thanks!
