#3 allows the eggs to last longest. Don't wash. Just put in the fridge.
That's what I do unless they are just completely filthy. Usually I get at least one egg that is just nasty looking so I rinse it off.
Not at all! I'd love to have some ducks but until I get a legit BIG natural spring fed pond...no way. Ducks will make a mess of any small man made water source.
I'm happier just knowing the chicks have ample water anytime they want it. It's dang hot!
Just a kiddie pool with a submersible water pump to keep the water circulating. They seem to really love it during this hot weather. I kinda like it too because I'm not refilling their 5gal bucket every day! It was funny though...took them at least a whole day to get used to it and be curious...
I'd toss them in and see what happens. I pretty much go against the grain though lol
I've recently hatched dirty eggs. I put dirty eggs in the fridge to eat. I sell dirty eggs. I clean dirty eggs sometimes. Dirty eggs are just eggs IMO. If they are not cracked they are viable. Eat or hatch.

I feed them table scrapes a few times a week. That's all they get. Oh, and oyster shell and grit as they want it.
I collect eggs daily. No problems. Folks have gone out of their mind with feed in...
I was told last year that you can't eat fertilized eggs. haha.
I told someone I have a rooster with my hens and I collect and eat the eggs. He told me you can't eat fertilized eggs.
I laughed at him and simply said OK.
I'm sure we've all heard them. Advice that is a complete lie, uneducated, falsehood, garbage, myth, makes no sense whatsoever.
A recent one I just saw in a thread here was "don't pick up baby chicks until they are 3 weeks old or they will die" Wow. OK.
So what are some complete myths that...
