Sorry my bad its not all the same everywhere here we call them both but cone is the main thing we say. Yes roos can live together but still sometimes they will still show whos the boss. Not everyone is perfect i mean **** a chicken is a chicken girl boy big lil baby roo cock cockerel hen pullet...
And the silkies with the bigger top hat lol thereheads are very tinder so just one little blow could give them drain damage or death so yes keep them away from the bigger chickens.
Ive never heard that ive had many breeds and had just one chicken at a time and they were fine and have had just pairs roo abd a hen andthey were fine so u will be ok either way :-)
Aww they are so cute . But the cone is what grows at the top of there beak between the eyes. At this age if its still flat and no bump or lump or acorn forming then its a hen. :-) Did u see the 2 pics i posted of the cone on my 2 roos
Yours my phone is messing up i wouldnt let me put everything but definitely looks like a hen from what i can see but cant see past all the beautiful poof love it is it starting to get a lump or bump on head for the cone or is it still flat?
A roo for sure how old is he? I have 2 that are just 10-13 weeks and i can already tell. My other 2 are hens same age and dont have a cone or acorn at all.
HI POST any and everything you know about this new breed pics and all i just got 3 hens and they are add o pretty and one has some crazy coloring markings. I know they was created by mixing meat and egg chickens to have a dull purpose chicken .mine are 5 months old and will start laying soon...
