Update: pen was built this past weekend and we will be building a coop to attach to the side of the pen. They are sleeping outside in their pen and living every minute of it. They are officially 5 weeks old.. is it too early to start putting them on a feeding schedule? -

Thank you so much!!! Yea my little ones (and myself) would be horrified of such a thing happening. Wonderful to know the eventually won’t need 24 hrs of food and water. They’ve outgrown every tote I’ve used indoor in a matter of days. Looking forward to having them in their own space outside but... -

I live in Long Island, NY. The ducklings are starting their 4th week of life tomorrow. Husband and I will be making their permanent outdoor home this coming weekend. Debating on a covered ceiling (to protect from rain/snow) or just creating something with fencing to keep out predators. Hope I...
