Thank you. Yes she was hatched out this February. I have 4 pullets & 1 cockerel. I was a bit confused because the cockerel has bright red compared to the girls. If I breed him to them then the offspring will more then likely have the shredder gene?
I hatched her out of eggs from a flock that has lavendar orpingtons with a black roo to avoid the shredder gene. This girls comb & wattles don't look as bright red as pics I've seen online tho.
That's not yellow leakage. They were hiding under a brooder because I moved them and getting filthy from the pee & poop. My question isn't if they are show quality. They have 2 different patterns to their feathers amd their combs & wattles are 2 different colors. Everything I look up only shows...
Edited. I bought these lavendar orpington eggs to hatch. I have 2 different patterned roos. 2 have red comb & wattles & 2 have like a gray color. Are they lavendar? Maybe splash? I can't find anything on the internet that shows this breed with grayish combs and wattles.
I believe they hatched out end of March and 3 weeks later I bought more eggs to hatch from her so the last 3 are a little younger yet. I do appreciate all your help. Thanks again

Thank you for your help. She raises all show birds so I didn't question her when she says they are all purebred. Maybe some of her staff mixed something up somewhere.
I'll get more pics. Some are seramas. All the ones with the beards came out of the batch of blue wheatins. I bought those 2 breeds and Japanese black tails. The only ones I don't know anything about are the blue wheatin. Are they a breed of chicken that the hen is always yellowish? Roo is blue?
I'll try to get better pics tomorrow. They are a blue based. They have some red spots like in your picture. I have one that looks like the hen. Are hens and roos always those colors?
