    Wow, Just talked to the person selling this shed and I am going to go take a look. What a great deal and I think it would definitely work. Thanx for the info. And yes, there are a few more breeds that I have my eye on. The bigger the better!

    Thanks for all the suggestions. I shop at Western Farm Center weekly and love it there. I think I need something a bit bigger though. I looked on Craig's list and have a meeting with someone tomorrow night. I hope it goes well. I like the looks of the coops he has built before. They look sturdy...

    Gardengal, No, not a word. I called the company and they are "out of the office due to a family emergency". I work today, but it looks like my DH and I will be spending tomorrow experiencing the beauty of hardware cloth and a post hole digger.. I'd better break out the first aid kit.

    Yes Gardengal. I have been lurking for months. This is the first thread that I could really relate to. We newbies sometimes put the cart before the horse. The chicken expert at my local feed store warned me I should have the coop before I received my chickens. Oh well, lesson learned.

    I feel your pain. I have 11 five week old chicks in a galvanized tub in my bathroom. The coop I ordered on-line was supposed to arrive 3 weeks ago. URG!
