    @buff goose guy and @Miss Lydia Thanks! This is my first year with chickens and now that I have added ducks to the family I really think I am becoming more of a duck person! My chickens are sweet too, but there is just something about the ducks that you just have to love.

    @treehuggerme I thought Swedish when I saw them too. But I'm a total newbie so don't take anything I say as knowledgeable. I'm just an info gatherer when I'm in over my head. I mean, like an obsessive, up until 2am reading through forums kind of info gatherer. The family really loves that part...

    Lol That's awesome and yours are beautiful! Someone on my guess the breed thread said mine looked like they were mixed with Blue Swedish. I had someone else tell me that also.

    Blue Swedish was one of the breeds they had at the place I got them. I know the males are sterile, but I think the females can produce eggs. Not sure though, so maybe someone else could confirm?
