    Ok, that is about 1 1/2 hours from me, I know where it's at. When can we meet? I will be out of town tomorrow but can meet you early sunday if you want. I have a truck and some big crates so I can take as many as you can bring.

    Hi, I'm new to the forum and live in Burnside Ky. I bought my first chickens in March of this year and I'm in love. I currently have 15 and I'm always looking for more hens to add to my flock. Anyone have any for sale close to me? hehe I can't wait for one of my girls to go broody...

    Oh, it's a rooster now. He's breeding all the girls and crowing like crazy. He's way bigger than my older rooster and he doesn't even have spurs yet.

    Turns out my big hen is a rooster. He is turning out to be awesome and is huge.

    Hens eating chick starter, chicks eating oyster shells!

    I was told to break up egg shells and feed to my hens to harden their eggs. Is this safe for young hens not laying yet since they shouldn't have oyster shells?
