    Pekin Duck Club!

Thanks for your advice, Onlyducks. I'm hoping my girls are well bred and will settle down a bit once the males are gone. Needlessjunk, we would like to try some ducks eggs, that's why we'd like to keep the girls. Suellen123, thanks for your reply. You've got some great advice. You're...

    Pekin Duck Club!

We have 4 pekins about 6 mos old, 2 females and 2 drakes. We live in a suburban neighborhood. My neighbors are not very happy that we have ducks. At times, the females get very loud, especially when they bob their heads up and down and chase the drakes. I think they must be flirting. We are...

We have an 9 week old Pekin. We built him a home and enclosure with the plans of finding him/her some friends. Yesterday we brought home 3 Pekins, 1 boy and 2 females, approx. 3 mos. old who were raised together. Our little guy/girl is very interested in joining in the fun with the 3 newbies...

how much daily work are three ducks?

Thank you for all of your responses! They were exactly what I needed to hear. I've read so much about caring for ducks that I was beginning to feel overwhelmed even before I really got started. Now I'm excited to get going! Thanks again!!

how much daily work are three ducks?

I'm new to the world of ducks. We've been given a duckling that friends hatched and plan on adding two more to the mix. We are in the process of building a house and enlarging a pen for them. I've been enjoying reading many of the posts on this forum and thank you all for the info you've...
