    help with feed

    I have 6 Marans and I have an 11 LB feeder and if I fill it it up my 6 chickens will eat it dry within 2 days. I'm in S Ga so there is no coop they have an open roost in there run,so should I just feed them in a pan in the morning and take the automatic feeder out,they eat like there starving...

    see where the back two cross braces are lower there will be tin there on both sides wherethe chicks can get out of bad weather and yes it will be there permanent home and ill move it around my yard so they can forage .

    I'm building my new coop/run for my 1 month old morans there will be a tin roof on the back 3' and the nesting boxes underneath on the back wall and hardware cloth to keep out unwanted critters most of the wood was free so far I'm only out 39 bucks outta pocket! What do y'all think any...

    Hello from Ga

    I'm new to chickens I have 6 2 week old austrolorps. I built a 10x6 run out of natural resources oak and pine saplings. I've been reading all I can trying to figure out my coop and egg box design. Great site glad to Be a part of it
