    Can relate. We have five Orps at 24th week and no eggs yet. I mean, show me the money you lowfers! I feel like I spoil them rottten and am on my third 50lb. bag of food. They are getting big and fat too. I hope they know that Thanksgiving is around the corner.

    Is DE harmful to my lungs? My chest gets heavy when using it. I noticed on the bag of the food grade DE that it warns about breathing it. What about my birds? Are they safe with this stuff?

    Using DE with Deeplitter Method

    I read on the label of my food grade DE bag that I shouldn't breath it in. WOW! That's hard to do! I just put some down for the first time and DID notice a heavyness on my chest. Is this stuff bad for me? Do you use a mask when stirring the litter? What about the health of my birds?
