    Odd noises from inside the poults

    Sounds like the cherries are working their magic, especially if they are eating the pips as well. A friend dropped us off about 3lbs this morning. His cherry tree is absolutely full and he had been eating them for the previous few days, his stomach sounded like a cement mixer.

    Hi I have the same problem in Spain only Pollo (18% protein) or Gallina (16%) food is readily available. I asked a large scale breeder and he said to rear chicks/pullets on the Pollo feed and switch to Gallinas food at 16-18 weeks for the layers. It worked OK for me, although I do add scrambled...

    Hi Gracias for all the welcomes. Spain is a great place to keep chickens. We live in eastern Almeria about 3000 ft ASL so it can be windy and cold in the winter.     Hi English Expat now residing in Spain With time on my hands I decided to get back into poultry As usual I got carried away :rolleyes: and now have over 30 including Australorp, Marans, Leghorns. Araucana pure and hybrid Barnvelder, Cochin and various hybrids. Lots of good info on this site.
