    I would take her to the vet in a heartbeat but my vet that sees my dog doesn't do chickens and there are none around me that does. Just trying to do the best I can for her

    Should work good then. Anything to keep them chickens cool is a help! About the only thing I can do is keep a fan going on mine. The humidity is so high here.

    I think they work by evaporating cooling so should work ok if its low humidity. If its really humid like here in nc it will just work like a regular fan.

    Yep adult voice! I thought there was something wrong with mine when her voice changed and sounded like she was honking sort of like a goose. We told her she needed to lay off the cigarettes they weren't good for her complexion! Lol

    Calico princess are new this year and not much info on the web about them. We have two and have no complaints at all. They seem like they can take hot weather well , started laying at 15 weeks are friendly and non flighty. Just in case you happen to run across them trying to decide on your flock.
