So 6 1/2 years ago, I got two ducks a male and female. My female was murdered by a raccoon. A local guy sells ducks let’s just say most of them sell during Thanksgiving time. So I bought two female ducks from him for our male duck. back About 2 years ago one female duck died. Tuesday we came...
I’m not going to kill anything they have just as much right to live as my ducks do. I don’t like having to relocate them but, I have no choice because my ducks pen is now a food source for them. The area I live in doesn’t really have a lot of predators. The national Park that we’re releasing...
I don’t kill anything if given the opportunity. All animals have a purpose. I honestly feel bad because I wouldn’t have to relocate them but because they got one of my ducks eggs my ducks pen will now always be a food source.
I got myself two of them. They are babies themselves. We are going to release them in a national park right here by us lots of woods but, still people around for them to get food and stuff like that. We think they’ll do phenomenal over there and it’s actually safer for them.
Update
So my babies stayed in the house last night. I feel much better today about letting them free range in the yard. I will keep you updated on the Repel all that I got and let you know if it works. Thank you all so much for all your help I truly appreciate it
That is awesome that your duck have a coop like that. They are safe and that is the most important thing. I will use your coop as something to build from. I can’t wait to see how happy my ducks are with the stuff you did. I will send you pics. thank you so much for helping me out. I’m a first...
I’m not giving them a chance to hurt my babies. We are going to put it all over the underbrush. I will definitely let everyone know if it works but we are still going to trap them tonight hopefully and relocate them tomorrow. My Lois and Clark are going to be in the garage tonight. It’s climate...
So the fake egg was another post because my Lois was laying next to the pond and not in the house. She laid in the house one time and I didn’t want her to stop laying there. I just couldn’t believe they took the fake eggs also. They got one of her eggs one night bee didn’t see it was there. So...
We live in Florida. So the weather isn’t a big deal. I just got traps to remove the raccoons. I also got grad wire to put on the bottom of the pen. We are putting blocks down for the pen to go on so they can’t dig underneath it. I also have someone coming out to remove all the underbrush from my...
Thank you for the book recommendation. I will read it. I’m sure telling me about your neighbors ducks wasn’t something you wanted to do but, it’s important to know how deadly raccoons can be.
