    I raised guinea pigs as a child and my daughter now has one. We love them so much. Our animals, big and small, have a way of creeping into our hearts, and it hurts when we lose them. So sorry. (double hugs)

    Thanks for the offer and idea. We will have to see how it all works out. So far we are hanging in. A neighbor behind us already said we could haul water from them so that helps. We may need to find homes for the animals for winter to lessen the load.
