My mom (bantambird) and I are backyard chicken and turkey breeders and I happened to help a unique turkey hatch this year. A bird with possible chimerism that hatched from a double yolked egg. I also do a lot of Showmanship and training with my three selected turkey hens; Banana: a semi pencil blue sweetgrass, Apricot: a red bronze, and Shiver, a modeled* blue slate. Turkey genetics are one of my favorite things to talk and learn about.
