    Does anyone leave their chickens out all night?

    I guess is a matter of where you live i let my chickenschoosewhere the spend their night, i have never have anyproblems with predators or lost any ,i keep my chicken house open all day and nite long and never have any problems or lost one.

    I understand that if a mess with the nest the hen will go broody somewhere else but will the eggs survive the nite freeze. I do not want to loose all this egg. In one next i got around 15 the other next has well over 20 eggs i believe 2 hens are sharing the nextand i do not want to loose thses eggs.
