    It depends on the heater and the overall size of the tank. A 400watt heater with no thermostat could boil a quart of water. I would probably use a 100wt heater on a thermostat switch like the one described in the article. Set the built in heater thermostat as low as it will go.

    I do not fly planes though I am considering a ppl. The name Fly Guy comes from fly fishing. I lived in Idaho for quite a while and have fished all over the north west. My in laws have a cabin outside of Woodland Park so I fish that area as well.
