    I read somewhere a while back about using a pipe cleaner to help straighten the curled toe. You cut the cleaner to toe size, straighten the toe, and attach the cleaner to the toe with a bandage.

    Pros and cons of having different breeds in one coop

    I have 5 - a RIR, Golden Comet, Barred Rock ,and 2 EE. I enjoy the variety and they do seem to get along well as a flock. And, I am getting some lighter brown eggs, darker brown eggs, and now some light greens.

    I got them for the fresh eggs and bug control. They have become a source of entertainment, too!
